It is sort of a dreary morning here in Louisiana. More rain in the forecast, but I try to think of good things, April showers, blah blah! Spring arrives earlier here, so I do look forward to that! There is a lil bit of cheer for the morning. I picked these the other day. I just reopened my old site, Shoofly Patchworks, to a new name! Shoofly Pie Dry Goods is more fitting to what I aspire to sell, so, out with the old this year, and into the new. Now I feel I can take more time to set up my blog, and get more done in the yard this year! Time for color. Last year was trying to work on things, as our home was new to us, and it is still in need of some color, badly. A garden is in order, and working at cutting down on mowing, by adding flowers and trees. Six hours spent on a mower is way too much time! Thank goodness for my sons help!
