Good Monday Morning!

It is sort of a dreary morning here in Louisiana. More rain in the forecast, but I try to think of good things, April showers, blah blah! Spring arrives earlier here, so I do look forward to that! There is a lil bit of cheer for the morning. I picked these the other day. I just reopened my old site, Shoofly Patchworks, to a new name! Shoofly Pie Dry Goods is more fitting to what I aspire to sell, so, out with the old this year, and into the new. Now I feel I can take more time to set up my blog, and get more done in the yard this year! Time for color. Last year was trying to work on things, as our home was new to us, and it is still in need of some color, badly. A garden is in order, and working at cutting down on mowing, by adding flowers and trees. Six hours spent on a mower is way too much time! Thank goodness for my sons help! Well, on to the days chores. Have a great day y'all!

A Lil History

So many people have asked me over the years, why did you start a web business? Well, I started Shoofly Pie Dry Goods first, so we will start there. I like to quilt, and design, and always wanted to sell at craft shows, but with little ones, and a hubby that had some odd hours, I waited, then along came the web! Well, here was my chance. I sell e-patterns of country and primitive designs, and will be working on many more soon!

Shoofly Pie Mercantile is an primitive advertising site for primitive designers, crafts of all sorts, and sellers of awesome other merchandise for the primitive lover. I do Co-op ads also.

The Prim Angel Network was started with some friends of mine to devote time to raise funds for different charities. We list items on eBay and have a membership of over 100 or so ladies that share in our love to help out.

Beneath the Willow Tree is an online primitive magazine/newsletter that I write for. It is the first magazine online of it's kind, started by Prim Mart. I am also on the staff of Prim Mart, working with Shelly, and all sorts of other nutty ladies to help Shelly keep things running smoothly! I wonder if she thinks we are doing a good job? ;)

So, that is a a glimpse of my crazy endeavours! Did I say crazy? I only meant me! If I seem to get sassy in some of my writings it is because I love to be sassy in a silly way, not to offend anyone. I am just goofy, yes, even at my age. I am not old, and certainly I am not old at heart, and hope to never be! :)
